Why was I charged after uninstalling the app?

Q: I uninstalled the app, but I still see a charge. Why?

A: This charge comes from Shopify’s billing system, not directly from us. As app developers, we cannot initiate or control billing. Shopify manages all app subscriptions and charges according to their terms and conditions. Please refer Shopify’s documentation here.

In your case, the charge likely occurred because your 7-day trial had already ended before you cancelled. Shopify charges for the full 30-day billing period, even if you used the app for just one day after the trial (this applies to all apps on Shopify, not only ours).
